IMPD makes an arrest in the death of 14-year-old juvenile

INDIANAPOLIS – On April 27, 2021, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide Detectives, arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male in the death of a 14-year-old Ke’Sean Jones.

On March 10, 2021, IMPD officers responded to 4061 E 34th St. on the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and located Ke’Sean Jones suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s). Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) responded and transported him to Riley Hospital in critical condition. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, Jones succumbed to his injuries. IMPD Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began a death investigation. 

Detectives arrested a 15-year-old juvenile for his alleged role in the shooting of Jones and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office has preliminarily charged him with reckless homicide.
