Indiana Conservation Officers urge Hoosiers to “Spring Aboard”

Indiana Conservation Officers are again partnering with the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) to encourage boaters to “Spring Aboard” and enroll in a boater education course.

Working in partnership with states, online providers Boat-ed.com and Boaterexam.com are offering course discounts for students who enroll in or complete a course during the Spring Aboard campaign from March 17-23.

“An informed and knowledgeable boat operator is much more likely to recognize hazardous conditions on the water and avoid a boating mishap”, said Indiana Boating Law Administrator Lt. Kenton Turner.

Online classes are available 24/7 and provide state-specific information needed for your boating location.  Indiana Conservation Officers also offer classroom courses.  Hoosiers can visit www.boat-ed.com/indiana for online courses.  For classroom course options, visit www.register-ed.com/programs/Indiana for classes offered in your area.  Online users should use VIP Code: SpringAboard19 for discounts.
