2017 BRICKYARD 400/LILLY DIABETES 250 MEDIA CREDENTIAL PROCEDURES

All requests must be made by July 6, 2017

Media credential requests for the 2017 Brickyard 400 and Lilly Diabetes 250 are being accepted. The application deadline is Thursday, July 6. Media credentials are for the primary purpose of gathering news for the timely coverage of the event. All requests must come from an assigning editor, producer or director. Freelance media (photographers, journalists, etc.) must be on a specific assignment from a recognized media organization.

If you have been credentialed for past IMS events but have not received the unique username and password for the IMS media credential website and would like to apply for media credentials, please contact Tim Sullivan (tsullivan@brickyard.com) at 317-492-6789. You will be required to provide examples of previous coverage.

If you are making a first-time request for media credentials, please have the assigning editor email the request to Tim Sullivan (tsullivan@brickyard.com) or Katie Cavin (kcavin@brickyard.com) with the following information:

•Name, address and phone number of media outlet

•Type of media outlet: Print/TV/Radio/Internet (For Internet media, please send the following information: Monthly number of visits, number of unique visitors, number of page views. For newspapers and magazines, please provide circulation size and frequency of publication.)

•Examples of prior motorsports coverage, including last year’s coverage

•This information for each person to be credentialed: Name; valid email address; job responsibility, date of birth and one of the following: last four digits of Social Security number, complete driver’s license number with name of issuing state or passport number with name of issuing country.

Approvals or denials of applications will be sent via email.

If you have a 2017 NASCAR media hard card, please contact Tim Sullivan or Katie Cavin with a mailing address so your parking pass can be mailed to you.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway reserves the right of final approval of media credential applications. No one under the age of 18 will be granted media credentials.
