National Night Out Against Crime is a free event with the Police and local organizations coming together to create a fun community gathering. This event is also used as a way to educate citizens on crime prevention and safety, with police and fire personnel and other public safety agencies visiting and talking with the people in their community and offering demonstrations. At National Night out events you can also see safety vehicles on display for the public to explore, touch and learn of their importance in the community. There will be plenty of giveaways from local businesses and vendors at the event. Free food (hot dogs, drinks and snacks) is often provided. For families, kids can enjoy free activities including bounce houses, games and more.
