It’s Farmer’s Market Season in Hendricks County

Make this summer a Million Dollar Summer!

One of the best parts of summer is the outdoor farmer’s markets with freshly baked goods and the vibrant abundance of ripe produce. These community farmer’s markets are always a good time with  entertainment including live music, food trucks and local vendors and artisans.

Avon

Brownsburg

Enjoy themed markets that include Strawberry Shortcake Festival, Kid Biz Night, Non-Profit Night, Corn Roast, and Music at the Market.

Danville

Plainfield

Plainfield Friends Church, US 40 and SR 267 N

Wednesdays, June 4th through September 24th from 4pm to 7pm

Pittsboro

Wednesdays, June 4th through August 27th from 5:30 to 7:30pm

North Salem

Thursdays, May 22nd through August 21st from 5 to 7:30pm

Farm Stands and Markets

Beasley’s Orchard

2304 E Main St, Danville

Features an indoor market with fresh produce, and local honey, jam, jellies and preserves, meat and cheeses, fresh cider, hard cider, BBQ sauces, baking mixes, fresh bread, candles, maple syrup, salsa, fruit butters, popcorn, candy, seasonings and Amish eggs. There is also a bakery that offers baked goods. Their summer market hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 6pm and closed on Sundays. Beasley’s also offers u-pick strawberries in late May to Mid-June and Raspberries in Mid-June to Mid-July. Check their social media regarding u-pick updates and information.

Belleville Farm Market

1882 E US Highway 40, Clayton

Features fresh produce, homemade fudge, sugar pecans, dog treats, local honey, preserves, salsas, BBQ and hot sauces, Sugar Pecans, Dog treats, Local Honey, Preserves, salsa, BBQ and hot sauces, and hanging baskets among other things. Now open for the season, Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and 12 to 5pm on Sunday.
