Improvements coming to State Road 75 bridge over I-74 near Jamestown on July 7

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the State Road 75 bridge over I-74 will close on or after Thursday, July 7 for bridge work. This closure is approximately 1.4 miles north of S.R. 234, near Jamestown. It’s expected to reopen in November, weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured along I-74. The official detour follows westbound I-74 to southbound S.R. 32 to eastbound I-74 and back to southbound S.R. 75.

This project was awarded to HIS Constructors, Inc. for $2.6 million. This project also includes bridge work on S.R. 75 over Branch Big Walnut Creek in Hendricks County. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-November of this year.
