Hendricks County Bank and Trust Announces Appointment of Officers

February 23 (Brownsburg, IN)- Hendricks County Bank President, Jerry P. Orem, along with Directors and Officers of Hendricks County Bank and Trust Company, announce Stephanie Commins and Colin Hinkle have been appointed by the Board to serve as officers of the bank.

Stephanie Commins

Stephanie Commins serves as Human Resources Manager with SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials. Stephanie Commins joined the bank in 2023, focusing on talent strategies and supporting overall business goals. She comes with over 25 years of general business management experience. Stephanie grew up in Texas but has resided in Hendricks County for 30 years. Both her sons attended Brownsburg High School. She is an active member at Connection Point Christian Church and has served with numerous non-profit organizations over the years, including Sheltering Wings, Susan B. Komen, Make-A-Wish and Dancing with the Hendricks County Stars. Most recently Stephanie has added cycling to her exercise routine and hopes to use this activity as an avenue to raise funds for Blood Cancer United and make meaningful connections.

Colin Hinkle

Colin Hinkle has been with the bank since 2023. In 2025, he stepped into the role of Financial Analyst focusing on project and data management aiding projects that increase lending efficiency. He has also added BSA Officer, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other regulations whose purpose is to “promote financial transparency and deter and detect those who seek to misuse the U.S. financial system to launder criminal proceeds, finance terrorist acts, or move funds for other illicit purposes.” per the FDIC definition. He grew up in Brownsburg and is a 2022 dual graduate of Trine University with a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Marketing degree. He has achieved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Colin volunteers with Sertoma of Brownsburg and with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indianapolis. He is actively involved in CCA Social Sports, an adult recreational sports league and coaches a local high school soccer team.
