Harvest Your Fall Farm Fun!

What better way to get into the harvest season by visiting local fall farm attractions that are local here in Hendricks County and around Central Indiana.

Farms and Orchards in Hendricks County

Beasley’s Orchard

2304 E Main St, Danville

Beasley’s Orchard Fall Festivals kick off on September 20, and the festival activities will be offered daily through November 2nd.  There is a general admission of $10 to participate in the festival attractions during the weekdays and $14 for the weekends and ages 2 and under are free.  The fall festival attractions include the corn maze, hayrides to the pumpkin patch and marigold field, apple cannons (5 shots), Barnyard Bonanza, jumbo jumping pillow, sports target toss, straw mountain, pumpkin house and more. To enjoy the festival attractions, the weekday hours are Monday through Friday 1pm to 6pm and weekend hours are Saturdays 9am to 6pm and Sundays 12pm to 6pm. Admission sales end at 5pm daily to ensure guests have enough time to enjoy the attractions and to pick apples. For apple picking, there is no price for admission to pick one of the over 20 varieties of apples, but you will pay for a bag for the apples prior to picking. The current rates are for a half peck bag (about 12 apples) $10, peck bag (about 24 apples) $17, half bushel bag (about 48 apples) $30.   There will be 7 uniquely themed weekends during their fall festival which includes September 20-21 Opening Weekend, September 27-28 Hometown Heroes, October 4-5 and 11-12 Heartland Apple Festival, October 18-19 Dog Days at the Maze, October 25-26 Halloweekend, and November 1-2 Dia De Los Muertos. Make sure you stop by the market located inside the barn for fresh produce, freshly baked goods, candy and of course apple cider slushies!

Back Forty Farm and General Store

8418 N. Co. Rd. 650 E, Brownsburg

Explore the u pick flower fields at the Back Forty Farm and General Store in Brownsburg. The flower picking season is from early July to late October. The flower varieties they offer include cosmos, dahlias, sunflowers, wildflowers, and zinnias. Back Forty is open Saturday through Sunday from 11am to 2:30pm and offers free admission and ranges in price per stem picked. The General Store features handmade gifts, farm themed items, snacks, drinks, sweet treats and candies. And don’t forget to check out Oinking Acres Farm Rescue and Sanctuary that is located right next door.

Hogan Farms

8900 E County Road 1000 N, Brownsburg

Hogan Farms will open for the season on Saturday, September 27. On September 27 and 28 only the corn maze, hayride and pumpkin patch will be open. Visit the farm and pumpkin patch this October on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 6pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Attractions include a corn maze which is pumpkin and skeleton themed for 2025, the kids zone featuring a straw pyramid, pumpkin chess and pumpkin tic tac toe, hayrides every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday which last 15 to 20 minutes from 11am to 5:30pm and weekends enjoy a farmers market with many different vendors. Prices for the corn maze is $6 per person, the hayride is $5 and the kid zone is $3 and children under 36” are free.

Nehemiah Ranch

1420 N County Road 600 E, Avon

Attend the Fall Festival at Nehemiah Ranch on October 4, 11 and 18 from 6 to 9pm where you can enjoy live entertainment, hayrides, hotdogs, s’mores, hot chocolate, fire pit, games, and a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The event is free but there is a suggested donation of $5 per person.

Albright Acres Flower Farm

228 Melrose Lane, North Salem

Albright Acres Flower Farm is a new you pick Flower Farm in Hendricks County located behind the Dollar General in North Salem. Visit their social media for more information.

Anderson Orchard

369 East Greencastle Road, Mooresville, IN

Anderson Orchard in Mooresville offers u-pick produce, the Apple Barn Market, a pumpkin patch, a kids play area and a concession stand. Enjoy special events at the orchard including live music, a petting zoo, the Orchard Dash, and the Apple Festival and Craft Fair. Their annual Apple Festival and Craft Fair on September 27 and 28 and will include concessions, and over 80 vendors (until 6pm). The fall orchard hours are 8am to 8pm with you pick ending at 7pm. There is no admission or parking fee to enjoy Anderson Orchard

Driving Winds Farm

6410 Michigan Rd, Indianapolis

This u-pick berry farm will be hosting their annual Pumpkin Palooza event on October 4 and 11  from 9am to 3pm that includes pumpkin picking, wagon rides, bounce houses, photo ops, farm animals, venders and more, and admission is $10 per car.

Dull’s Tree Farm and Pumpkin Harvest

1765 W Blubaugh Ave, Thorntown

Dull’s Tree Farm and Pumpkin Harvest will begin September 20 through October 26 and will feature 45 activities at the farm including Ropes Range, ball zone, big slides, hayride, pumpkin patch, corn maze, barrel train rides, small zip line, slingshots, farm animals, barnyard bouncers, and more!! Admission is free for children 2 and under and adults 70 years and older, and general admission varies for peak and non-peak days. Peak days are September 27 and 28, and October 4,5, 11,12, 18 and 19 with general admission being $17 online and $19.50 at the gate. Non-peak days are September 20 and 21, and October 2,3, 9,10, 16, 17, 23, 24,25 and 26 and general admission is $14 online and $16.50 at the gate. General admission also includes an activity pass to enjoy either 5 shots at the country air cannons, pumpkin decorating, one face painting, a ride on the Electric Tractor Drive, a small cup of paintballs or one bottled drink (Water, Coke, or Diet Coke) and any additional activity passes can be purchased for $4.75. Visitors looking to only pick pumpkins or grab a quick bite to eat, can stop by for a FREE 30-minute quick visit and the admissions staff will hold your keys and record your name and time and anything over 30 minutes requires you to purchase general admission.

Fishers Agripark

11171 Florida Road, Fishers

Fishers Agripark is a 33-acre urban farm, that is free for the public and offers select daily FREE produce for guests to pick from May through October. On site visitors can see animals and children can enjoy the new playground area. The Park is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday  from 10am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday noon to 4pm. The annual AgriPark Fall Festival will be October 4 and 5 with activities including a scarecrow trail, campfires, animal encounters, inflatables, games, crafts, music, food trucks, and more. You must register prior to attending the event, and children 2 and under are free, Fishers residents are $5 and non residents are $7.50.

Kelsay Farms

6848 N. County Road 250 E, Whiteland

Kelsay Farms is a 6-generation farm that is open seasonally and from September 26 to October 26. General admission is $14 for ages 2 and up and children 23 months and under are free. The farm features a 7-acre Corn Maze, Scavenger Hunt, Hayrides, Jump Pad, Baby Barnyard, Bale Mountain, Corn Crib Play Area, Hop Dots, Funky Pumpkin, Right Turn Only maze, Cornhole Games, Straw Play Area, Pumpkins and the Moo Choo Express. 

Lark Ranch

1611 N Meridian Rd, Greenfield

Lark Ranch is open seasonally on weekends (and 3 weekdays in October) from September 20 to October 29. There is an admission price of $17 to $22 depending on what day you visit. Lark Ranch features a fun train ride, pumpkin patch, carnival rides, children’s play area, corn maze and other family activities. This year they will be participating in hosting a Colts Fall Fest on September 27, from 11am to 3pm that will feature appearances by the Colts Cheerleaders and the mascot Blue, Colts giveaways, sweepstakes and more. Piney Acres Farm

1115 E 1000 N, Fortville

This Christmas Tree Farm in Fortville during the autumn season hosts a fall festival, fall ice skate and at night a scare farm. From September 20 through October 26, enjoy family fun at Piney Acres on Sunday through Friday noon to 6pm and Saturdays 10am to 6pm. Admission is free for infants (baby carrier or stroller), $5 for ages walking to 3, Kids ALL ACCESS (ages 3 to 13) $18.00 and for adults general admission(ages 13 and up) $10 and all access which includes the Train & 150′ Slide is $16 and Piney Acres offers ½ off admission Monday through Thursday. Attractions at Piney Acres Farm includes corn mazes, hayrides, pedal cars, a kids play area with playground equipment, Jump Pad, yard games, animals including deer, a straw mountain, a gem mine sluice, and more!

Pleasant View Orchard

10721 N. 850 W., Fairland

Pleasant View Orchard is a family owned and operated apple orchard that grows over 30 different varieties of apples on its 40 acres. Their pumpkin patch opens around the last weekend of September with free tractor pulled wagon rides to the patch on the weekends. They also have a playground for kids to enjoy. There is no price of admission or parking at Pleasant View Orchard.

Russell Farms

12290 E. 191st Street, Noblesville

Russell Farms is a pumpkin patch in Noblesville that is open seasonally from September 27 to October 26. There is no admission fee for the pre picked pumpkins, gourds, and straw or to visit the country store (where you can shop fall decorations, fudge, apple butter, toys, candles, clothing, candy, apple cider, and much more!)  On weekends, Russell Farms is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6pm, and Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in October, from 1 to 5pm, general admission is $17, children two and younger are always free and there is a special $10 admission for Veterans, active military members (for individuals with ID only) and for seniors 70 and over. Admission includes hayrides to the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, 2 corn mazes, 18-hole miniature golf, jumping pillow, bounce houses, train ride, fun games, rides and play areas. This Fall season they will be joining Lark Ranch in hosting a  Saturday, October 18, Russell Farms will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts Fall Fest from 10am to 2pm that will feature appearances by the Colts Cheerleaders and the mascot Blue, Colts giveaways, sweepstakes and more.

Spencer Farm

7177 E 161st Street, Noblesville

Spencer Farm is a u-pick farm in Noblesville. There is no price for admission or parking, just pay for what you pick. The pumpkin patch will open on September16 and there will also be free tractor rides to the patch.

Stuckey Farm

19975 Hamilton Boone Rd, Sheridan

During the fall season, Stuckey Farm has special themed weekend events and fun attractions for the whole family. From September 13 to October 26, enjoy themed weekends of Apple Pluckin Days September 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28, Cider Pressin Days October 4-5 and 10-11, and Pumpkin Pickin Days October 18-19 and 25-26. Weekday admission is $14 for Thursdays and Fridays and 18.50 for Saturdays and Sundays. Children ages 2 and under are free and you can save $2 by purchasing your admission online. Stuckey Farm is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 7pm and Sundays 1pm to 7pm. General Admission Includes apple orchard access with a 1/4 peck of u-pick apples ($8.50 value and only with paid admission, does not apply to ages 2 and under), 3 u-pick Zinnia stems ($10 value) and attractions including the super mega slide and  giant 60’ tube slide, combine slides, corn bin, giant jumping pillows, a pirate ship play structure, pedal cars, a barrel train, a toddler play area, corn maze, hayrides and on the weekends admission also includes special themed activities/events/experiences, pig races and a ride on the Stuckey Express

Tuttle Orchards

5717 N 300 W, Greenfield

Tuttle Orchards in Greenfield is a fourth-generation family owned and operated farm that offers a year-round market with over 2000 products and top-quality produce that grows on the 200-acre farm and greenhouses. During the fall enjoy apple picking at the orchard, u-pick wildflower field, and pumpkin patch that are free to visit and doesn’t have an admission price. Tuttle Orchard does have a large family play area called the FarmYard which features a corn maze, a wagon ride around the orchard, farm animals, playhouse structures, trike bike tracks, a large tub slide on a hill, large yard games, spinning wheels, a straw pile, a corn box, photo ops and more.  Admission to the FarmYard is $10/person for ages 2 and older (child and adult) and free for ages 1 and under. They also offer season passes for $30 per person. Tuttle Orchard is always closed on Sundays and during the fall season they are open Monday through Saturday, August 29 through September 20, 9am to 6pm and September 22 through November 1, 9am to 7 pm, with the last day for FarmYard and you pick being November 1st for the 2025 season

Waterman’s Family Farm

7010 E Raymond St, Indianapolis

Waterman’s Family Farm has a Fall Harvest Festival from October 3 to November 2 that features a lot of family friendly activities, a pumpkin chomping dino, a corn maze, straw maze, train rides, tractor rides to the pumpkin patch, tractor tire mountain slide, human hamster wheels, plenty of food options live entertainment and more. The price of admission varies from $12.95 to $17.95, and for more information regarding hours and admission rates visit watermansfamilyfarm.com.
