Looking to catch some movies during the summer? Hendricks County has several different theaters that offer a summer movie program for families as well as certain discount days. Also, around Hendricks County many different towns play movies in the parks throughout the summer. This is the current schedule of summer movie events happening in Hendricks County.

For 2025, you can enjoy free family movies and fun activities with Movies in the Park this summer at Arbuckle Acres Park. Pre-show activities will begin at 6:30pm and the movies will start at 7pm.

The Royal Theater in Danville is bringing back free Wednesday matinee family movies for summer 2025. After summer 2024’s successful free summer movie series, Danville’s Royal Theater will once again be offering free family movies thanks to various local sponsors starting June 4. The doors will open at 9am with the shows starting promptly at 10am.
