Give a Tree for Tomorrow

Give a tree to a friend or relative and show you care. Plant it and prove the fact. Show a child how to plant a tree and provide a lifetime lesson about building nature in an act that can last generations.

The county Soil & Water Conservation District fall native tree and shrub sale offers more than two dozen choices at $25 each. Grown in containers, all are sized for easy planting by all ages.

Well-developed roots enable hearty growth and that’s a message readily translated to a successful life’s preparation.

Order forms can be picked up at the SWCD office, 195 Meadow Dr., Ste. 2, in Danville, or emailed in printable format. Call (317) 745-2555, ext. 3.

Orders and payments are due Sept. 21. Tree pick-up is at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds; the SWCD will notify each buyer of the date and time.
