Bridge repair work begins April 13 on State Road 42 over White Lick Creek

HENDRICKS AND MORGAN COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces work will begin on or after Monday, April 13 on State Road 42 on the bridge over White Lick Creek, this is located approximately one half of one mile west of State Road 267 between Bethel Rd. and Lockerbie St.  Traffic will be restricted to one 16’ lane at the bridge with a traffic signal.  Work is scheduled to last through May 15, weather permitting.

RAM Construction Services of Michigan Inc., was awarded the $607,799 thin deck overlay contract.  This project includes three other bridges, S.R. 42 over Little White Lick Creek, located just west of S.R. 267 and both eastbound and westbound U.S. 36 Bridges over Abner Creek, located just over two miles west of S.R. 267.

This project is scheduled for completion in late September.
