As winter weather moves in so does the increase in the risk for fires

The Brownsburg Fire Territory is preparing for this weekends weather. With the challenges of extremely cold weather we have an increase in fires. We encourage you to pay special attention space heaters keeping them 3 feet away from surroundings. Fireplace ashes should be removed and placed outside. Have working smoke alarms.

Keep cell phones charged and layer clothing dressing for our extreme change in temperature.

If we get a large amount of snow stay in and enjoy time with the family. Be safe this weekend and stay tuned to local weather organizations.
