BROWNSBURG, IN (July 21, 2026) – Hendricks County will welcome an international field of professional tennis players this August when the inaugural Indiana Hardcourt Championships comes to Brownsburg, bringing an opportunity for fans to witness world-class competition close to home.
Hosted at the Brownsburg High School Tennis Complex, the men’s tournament is the final ATP Challenger Tour stop in The United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) 2026 US Open Wild Card Challenge. That means for one week, Brownsburg won’t simply host a professional tennis tournament — it will become one of the final stops on the road to the 2026 US Open, held later this year in New York.
The Indiana Hardcourt Championships will attract players, coaches, officials and tennis fans from across the country and globe, making it one of the most significant professional sporting events held in Hendricks County this year. The 21-court Brownsburg tennis complex, which opened last year, is the only complex in the state capable of hosting a professional tennis tournament. It will utilize three of its courts for competition and an additional seven for practice. The USTA has committed to the venue for the next three years.
“This tournament will have professional players ranked between 100-300 in the world,” said Spencer Fields, Brownsburg High School tennis coach and organizer of the local event. “It is hard to put into words how much fun it is to watch this high level of competition in person. This is huge for Brownsburg, central Indiana and the entire state to now be on the world stage for pro tennis.”
Many of today’s biggest stars competed on the ATP Challenger Tour before reaching the sport’s highest level. Current World No. 1 Jannik Sinner played at this level just three years ago.

In addition to professional matches, the week-long event will feature youth clinics, family-friendly activities, opportunities to meet players and other special events designed to welcome tennis fans of all ages.
Because seating is limited at the Brownsburg High School Tennis Complex at 1548 Odell St., fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Children ages 18 and younger will receive free admission throughout the tournament. General admission tickets start at just over $10 daily, with full-week passes also available.
