Doctoberfest, Who North America’s annual three-day festival celebrating Doctor Who fandom, will host a special guest this year!
In celebration of the hit British television series’ 60th anniversary and Who North America’s 25th anniversary, Sophie Aldred, the actress who plays Ace on the show, will travel to Central Indiana for Doctoberfest 2023. Fans can meet her in a more relaxed environment, unlike a convention, as part of the many activities during this annual festival in Hendricks County, Indiana.
The event held Oct. 20-22, 2023, will include panels, vendors, carnival-like games with prize redemptions, Punch-n-Judy British puppet shows and more.
NOTE: Tickets (which aren’t available yet) are required for the panels, autograph signing/photography with Sophie (Oct. 21), Dinner with Sophie (Oct. 20) and Brunch with Sophie (Oct. 22).
Who North America is the only store on this side of the pond dedicated to Doctor Who started by a fan for fans of the series. Who North America consists of a retail store, museum and a game room and has become a bucket-list adventure for any fan of the show.
