The B&O Trail section at the Northfield Drive and CR 300N roundabout will close on or after March 9 for construction of a tunnel. The trail will be closed in this area for the duration of the project, which is expected to be complete by the end of July. On March 9 and 10 there will be periodic traffic restrictions on CR 300N as the contractor installs pipe crossings.
The new tunnel under CR 300N will make crossing safe for trail users. The project is primarily funded by an FHWA Safety Improvement Grant.
