One of the advantages of living in Hendricks County are the many local farmer’s markets that are available throughout the season. From locally grown and produced foods to the large variety of items made and sold by people who live right here in Hendricks County, there are options almost every day of the week to stop and pick up something for dinner that night or to get ready for the weekend! And remember, by buying local, the money you spend in Hendricks County stays in Hendricks County!

The Plainfield Chambers Market Takes place at the church’s lawn on the corner of US 40 and SR 267 N

Farm Stands and Markets

Beasley’s Orchard

2304 E Main St, Danville

Features an indoor market with fresh produce, and local honey, jam, jellies and preserves, meat and cheeses, fresh cider, hard cider, bbq sauces, baking mixes, fresh bread, candles, maple syrup, salsa, fruit butters, popcorn, candy, seasonings and Amish eggs. There is also a bakery that offers baked goods. Their summer market hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 6pm and closed on Sundays. Beasley’s also offers u-pick strawberries in late May to Mid-June and Raspberries in Mid-June to Mid-July. Check their social media regarding u-pick updates and information.

Belleville Farm Market

1882 E US Highway 40, Clayton

Features fresh produce, homemade fudge, sugar pecans, dog treats, local honey, preserves, salsas, bbq and hot sauces, Sugar Pecans, Dog treats, Local Honey, Preserves, salsas, BBQ and hot sauces, and hanging baskets among other things. Now open for the season from 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5pm on Sunday.
