HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind.-The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will host a project open house regarding an upcoming added travel lanes project on U.S. 36 in Avon.
The primary purpose of the project is to reduce delays and improve the safety on U.S. 36 with a focus on the heavily congested portion of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Raceway Road.
The open house is an opportunity for INDOT to meet with members of the community regarding the upcoming construction related activities. The open house is scheduled for Tuesday, October 2, doors open at 5:30 p.m. and a formal presentation will be given at 6 p.m. at the Avon Town Hall located at 6570 East U.S. 36.
During the open house and formal presentation INDOT representatives will be available to address questions and discuss the objectives of the project. This event is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the project and to also provide input to the project as construction approaches.
