Homeowners who want to make their backyard garden or landscaping more productive are invited to sign up now for the July 31 permaculture workshop.
Limited to 15 participants, the 5:30-8 p.m. event is at Porter Farm, 4680 W. U.S. 36, Danville.
Permaculture designer and educator Rhonda Baird will discuss edible landscaping, native plants, and how to make farms and gardens more ecologically resilient and efficient.
Participants will receive an aerial map of their property to assist in goals and plans discussion; a copy of Gaia’s Garden; and other materials.
