Annual Tree Lighting and Parade

The Shops at Perry Crossing

November 18           5 to 8pm

The annual Shops at Perry Crossing Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade powered by York Jeep will feature Silly Safaris Elf and reindeer posing for free photos, Mrs Claus will be visiting with guests before the Jeep parade ushering Santa in for the big countdown to tree lighting! The event will also include live music, food trucks, and more!

Christmas on the Square

Downtown Danville

November 24         4 to 7pm

Downtown Danville Partnership, the Town of Danville and Hawkeye Storage will be hosting the 17th annual Christmas On The Square.

Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the East alley beginning at 4:00 pm.

Around the square, enjoy the festivities that includes enjoying the shops around the square and their beautifully-decorated shop windows, carriage rides sponsored by Abstract and Title, Dorsey Plumbing train rides, a live nativity, caroling by the Treblemakers, letters to Santa and more! Then at 6:30 watch as Santa flips a giant switch and lights the sparkling tree and block-wide canopy of lights.

Light Up Main Street

Bicentennial Plaza in Plainfield

November 25       4pm

This brand new, family-friendly, FREE event will happen in the downtown Main Street area in Plainfield. Visit local businesses beginning at 4:00 pm to participate in a scavenger hunt. Turn your completed scavenger hunt cards in for your chance to help light the tree at 6:30 pm. Make sure you visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. After the tree lighting ceremony head over to the 2nd annual Trees of Plainfield at Al and Jan Barker Sports Complex.

The Trees of Plainfield is a walk-through trail of trees, where guests can enjoy cookies with Mrs. Claus, selfies with The Grinch, family snowball fights, s’mores and MORE. Admission is $8 for 12 and up and free for kids 11 and under.

Avon Tree Lighting

Avon Town Hall Park

December 2      3 to 6pm

The annual lighting of the tree at Avon Town Hall Park will include food trucks, free crafts, a visit with Santa, and carolers!  

*Please bring your own camera if you would like to take a photo with Santa.

Brownsburg Christmas Under the Stars

December 2     4 to 8pm

Head out to Brownsburg for Christmas Under the Stars on Saturday, December 2!

Start the festivities by visiting the Winter Market at 4 pm on Town Hall Green (61 N. Green St.), where you can browse baked goods, decor, unique gifts, jewelry, and more from over 20 vendors! Stop by Santa’s Workshop in Eaton Hall to create holiday-themed take-home crafts hosted by the Brownsburg Public Library. Voting will be open from 4-6 p.m. for the Business Decorating Contest. Vote for your favorite decorated business where the winner will win Brownsburg’s “Beam of Light” award, sponsored by the Greater Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce.

Enjoy a festive lighted parade at 6pm. The parade route starts on Main St. at the Eastern Ave. intersection and turn north onto N. Green St. to Enderly Ave.

After the parade, head back to the Town Hall Green for the tree lighting and photos with Santa at 7:15pm. The Winter Market and Santa’s Workshop will be open through 8pm.

**During Christmas Under the Stars, an indoor sensory room will be available for visitors to self-regulate and relax away from stimulation. Inside the Town Council Room, this sensory room features coloring sheets, sensory toys, comfortable seating, headphones, and soft music to provide a calming environment during the event.**
