The First Friday Night Cruise-In returns to downtown Danville on Friday\, June 6 from 5-9 p.m.\, transforming the historic courthouse square into a showcase of classic\, custom\, and muscle cars. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a proud owner ready to show off your ride\, a lifelong car enthusiast\, or simply looking for an enjoyable evening out\, the Cruise-In offers something for everyone. \n\n\n\nSpectators are encouraged to stroll among the vehicles\, chat with owners\, and hear the fascinating stories “behind the wheels”. Make an evening of it by grabbing a bite at one of the many restaurants around the square\, browsing local shops\, and enjoying the welcoming atmosphere under the courthouse lights. \n\n\n\nNo registration required – just show up and shine! \n\n\n\nTo display your own vehicle\, just head to the courthouse square after 4 p.m. and park in any available spot on a first-come\, first-served basis. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your pride and joy while connecting with fellow enthusiasts. \n\n\n\nWhile you’re there\, be sure to stop by the Street Machines Limited tent. DESCRIPTION:WYRZ’s Shane Ray will be broadcasting LIVE from the 20th annual Hendricks County Rib-Fest presented by the Avon Chamber of Commerce at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds from 3PM-6PM on Saturday\, June 28th! \n\n\n\nRib-Fest is a local tradition since 2005 for the whole family\, which features games for kids\, lots of food\, hot air balloons and fireworks! \n\n\n\nThe Rise N’ Swine 5k Run/Walk & Kids Riblet Run will take place that morning! The Rise N’ Swine 5k will start at 9AM\, and then as a part of the grand opening for the day long festival\, the Kids Riblet Run will take off promptly at 10AM. \n\n\n\nThe Plainfield Lions Club Craft Fair will take place in the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall from 9AM – 7PM and the Hendricks Heritage Expo from 4PM – 6PM. You can also stroll the Children’s Entrepreneur Market while you enjoy those delicious ribs. \n\n\n\nLocal restaurants compete for “Best Ribs” & “Best Sauce” bragging rights as judged by local celebrities. On top of all that\, the Balloon Glow will add to the excitement planned for the evening culminating in fireworks! \n\n\n\nIf you can’t make it out\, make sure to tune us in at 3 PM\, Saturday\, June 28th on 98.9 FM WYRZ and online at WYRZ.org.
