DESCRIPTION:The Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF)\, in collaboration with the Hendricks County Democrats\, Hendricks County GOP\, and The Republican newspaper\, is excited to announce the upcoming Meet the Candidate Forums this September. These events provide an excellent opportunity for Hendricks County residents to engage directly with the candidates running in the 2024 General Election. \n\n\n\nEvent Details: \n\n\n\n\nDates: September 11th and September 18th\n\n\n\nTime: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: North and South Halls\, Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex\n\n\n\n\nCandidate Stage Representation: \n\n\n\n\nSeptember 11th\n\n\n\nState Senate District 24\n\n\n\nState Senate District 35\n\n\n\nState Representative District 25\n\n\n\nState Representative District 28\n\n\n\nAttorney General\n\n\n\nSeptember 18\n\n\n\nHendricks County Commissioner District II\n\n\n\nHendricks County Commissioner District III\n\n\n\nHendricks County Council At Large\n\n\n\nState Rep District 40\n\n\n\n\nAll candidates will be invited to set up a table where attendees can ask questions and have personal interactions. Tabling will open at 5:30 pm and close at 6:45 pm each night. Following the tabling\, contested candidates will be given an opportunity to speak on stage\, beginning at 7:00 pm and concluding at 9:00 pm. During the stage portion\, candidates will answer pre-approved questions in a formal setting. This will not be a debate. \n\n\n\nIf you have specific questions you want the candidates to address on stage\, please submit your questions by scanning the QR code below and filling out the survey.
