DUI checkpoints will be conducted this St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

(Indianapolis, Ind.) — Local law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, will conduct DUI checkpoints during March 2019.  The project Driving Under the Influence Indiana is made possible through a grant received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and is a project aimed at reducing alcohol-related motorcycle and automobile crashes.

DUI sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in Marion County on:

Saturday March 16 beginning at 6:00 pm

The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership involves the cooperation of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport, and IUPUI police departments.
