Blue Angel Connect, a non-profit organization located in McCordsville, IN., is having a fundraising event featuring Erik Estrada (Francis “Ponch” Poncherello) and Larry Wilcox (Jon Baker), the stars of the late 70’s, early 80’s TV show, “CHiPs.” The show followed the lives of two motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The series ran for 139 episodes over 6 seasons, plus they had one reunion TV film in 1998.
The event will be in two (2) stages. There will be an autograph and photo ops session on Friday night, October 20th at the Sheraton Hotel at Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis starting at 5pm. You can bring your own memorabilia or choose from an array of 8 x 10’s for Larry and Erik to personally sign for you. A professional photographer will also be on hand for your very own photo op with Larry and Erik. Your photo will be printed on the spot for you to have autographed. Admission to the autograph show is only $20, and autographs and photo ops are $40 each. This event is open to all ages.
Then, on Saturday night, October 21st, is the “Dinner with CHiPs” event. The dinner will be held at Bradley Hall in Greenfield, IN (just east of downtown Indianapolis) starting at 5pm. Cocktails, a gourmet buffet dinner, plenty of time to mix and mingle with Larry and Erik, and the opportunity to sit with them at their respective tables, plus, there will be a Q&A afterwards. All of this is included in your tax-deductible donation for the dinner event. Tickets are on sale right now for $275 each (General Admission) or $375 each to sit at the table with either Larry or Erik. The dinner is for ages 21 and older only.
