Danville Police Department Releases March Crime ‘Heat Map’

During the month of March, Danville police officers made 36 arrests, conducted 182 traffic stops, worked 20 traffic accidents, attempted service on 16 warrants, checked on 28 ‘suspicious persons’ called into our dispatch center, responded to 8 thefts, 5 burglaries, 1 Bank Robbery, and 20 physical disputes between individuals, along with many other calls for service.

This map gives us a look at where the incidents occurred. The red areas are what the computer system determines to be “high heat areas”, and the blue sections are isolated incidents.

If you have any information about a crime or suspicious activity, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our Officers and Administration work hard every day to make sure Danville remains a safe place to call home.
