Danville Community Education Foundation hosts successful 20th annual fundraiser

The Danville Community Education Foundation (DCEF) recently held its 20th annual Golf Outing to provide grants and scholarships to students and faculty at the Danville Community School Corporation.

With 33 teams and over 50 event sponsors, the event raised $10,900. The money will help provide scholarships to seniors and classroom grants for teachers in Danville schools.

Hendricks Regional Health team members Tim Drudge, Dr. Tracey Shafer and Adam Scott wait while Michael Wolfe takes a swing.

Hosted at Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville, primary event sponsors included Hendricks Regional Health with co-sponsors Hendricks Power Cooperative and Endeavor Communications. Monarch Beverage and Mayberry Café served as the event beverage and food sponsors.

P.J. Hamann, Bill Rader, Jon Regashus and Terry Hammons take a break from golfing to pose for a photo.

The foundation is always looking for new members that want to get involved, and encourage those interested to reach out. For more information about the DCEF, or to learn how to get involved or donate, visit www.warriordcef.org or find the group on Facebook @DanvilleCommunityEducationFoundation.
