I.S.P. Troopers to Play Hoops in Hobart

Hobart, Lake County-Officers from the Indiana State Police, Hobart Police, and Junior/Senior Hobart School teachers will be playing basketball against each other for a great cause.  On Friday, May 19th, 2017, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., they will play a round-robin tournament at Hobart Middle School, 36 E. 8th Street, Hobart, IN.  This is a fund raiser for the Hobart Middle School Athletic Department.  There will be troopers represented from the Toll Road, Lowell, and Bremen Districts.

One of these troopers, O’Bryan Winfield (Toll Road District) also has the distinction of representing the department at the World Police and Fire Games as a member of police/fire basketball team in Los Angeles, California, August 9th-13th, 2017.  There will be ten players from various police/fire departments from the state of Indiana participating.

Come join the fun!!  There is no cost to get in.  There will be raffles, games, etc. with all proceeds going to the Hobart Middle School Athletic Department. Come meet and talk to your local police and support the community.  Thanks are also given to Hamilton Elementary School in Lake Station for opening up their gym for troopers to practice.
