Registration for ESL and Adult Education Classes

Wayne Township Adult Basic Education is again offering an English Language Acquisition(ELA) class at Brownsburg Library Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00-noon. High School Equivalency(Formerly GED) classes are offered at the Brownsburg Public Library on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-Noon and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 P.M. A youth class from 16 and 17 year-olds meets at the library on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3:30 P.M. Classes are also held at Plainfield Middle School on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30- 8:30 P.M. Classes provide instruction in reading, math, language, writing, and High School Equivalency Assessment preparation. All Classes are provided free of charge to eligible students who are least 16 years of age. People under 18 interested must be withdrawn from public school and must present exit papers at the time of registration.

Anyone interested in attending ANY of these classes should call the Adult Basic Education office at the Brownsburg Library at (317)  852-3167, extension 130, to get a registration appointment.
