September 8, 2017–STATEHOUSE – Today in Evansville, Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch congratulated new homeowner Erin Demunbrun at the dedication of the 464th home built in Vanderburgh and Posey Counties by the Evansville affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.

“Every time I come back to Evansville, I say, ‘It’s great to be home!’, said Lt. Governor Crouch. “I could not be more proud of Habitat for Humanity making it possible for hundreds of our fellow Hoosiers to say at the end of a long day, ‘It’s great to be home.’. I’m excited to celebrate Erin Demunbrun’s success in obtaining her goal through hard work and perseverance.”

Habitat for Humanity works to expand home ownership opportunities to low income individuals and families and to further invest and improve urban neighborhoods in need of revitalization. As Lt. Governor, Crouch oversees the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.

“Quality, affordable housing is key to giving people a hand up in life,” Lt. Governor Crouch said. “Governor Holcomb and I are committed to the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, working to provide housing opportunities, promote self-sufficiency, and strengthen communities. And we are committed to lifting up organizations like Habitat and people like Erin.”
