ISP Accepting Applications for Regional Dispatcher at the Indianapolis Dispatch Center

The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for a Regional Dispatcher  position at the Indianapolis Post to staff the Regional Dispatch Center that operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Successful applicants for the Regional Dispatcher must be able to receive, record, disseminate and accurately dispatch information to police personnel, other law enforcement agencies and support services.

 A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required as well as the ability to type 30 words per minute. Two years of public safety communications experience and emergency medical technician certification are preferred.

Pay starts at $30,082 per year.

The deadline for applications is Monday November 30, 2015.
