IMPD detectives arrest two men in connection with a 2016 murder in the 600 block of North Exeter Avenue

IMPDINDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, detectives arrested Deiontae Evans and Devaughn Farmer, both 19-years old, on arrest warrants for Murder, Attempted Murder, and Robbery. These suspects are accused of shooting and killing 19-year-old Dazjuan Lyle on March 5, 2016, in the

600 block of North Exeter Avenue. Detectives believe robbery was the motive in this shooting. During the arrest of Farmer, North District Narcotics Detectives served a search warrant in the 3900 block of Rue Renoir, where two handguns, a large stash of marijuana, and a large quantity of cash were seized.  Evans and Farmer are currently in the Marion County Jail.  The probable cause and charging affidavits should be obtained from the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
