Hendricks Power Awards Hendricks Regional Health Nearly $42,000

Avon, IN –  Hendricks Power continues finding ways to save members money and become more energy efficient, with support from Wabash Valley Power Association. Hendricks Regional Health was awarded nearly $42,000 for taking advantage of our POWER MOVES rebates in 2017.

During construction of its new Brownsburg facility, Hendricks Regional Health opted to purchase and install energy efficient lighting and mechanical equipment upgrades, meeting our program requirements. This lighting is expected to last longer and utilize less electricity than what has traditionally been used.

“Our mission is to improve the  health of our region through the provision of exceptional health care in a compassionate, technologically advanced and efficient environment,” said Kevin Speer, Hendricks Regional Health President & CEO. “We are proud to further this mission with the new Hendricks Regional Health Brownsburg Hospital. By delivering a truly innovative, energy-efficient facility, we are able to serve the community in an environmentally and economically conscious way.”

The Brownsburg facility on the northwest corner of I-74 and Ronald Reagan Parkway, near exit 68, is creating more than 130 jobs in our community and will be opening on Monday, January 8, 2018. It features comprehensive sports medicine and women’s services, as well as Hendricks County’s first side-by-side emergency department and immediate care center.

“This new hospital demonstrates Hendricks Regional Health’s commitment to our community’s economic development and residents’ well-being,” said Greg Ternet, Hendricks Power CEO. “And this rebate reflects our commitment to the same interests. We are proud to be community partners.”

Through POWER MOVES, Hendricks Power offers energy efficiency rebates and incentives to residential members, as well as businesses, schools and farms. Visit hendrickspower.com to find program requirements and applications.
