DANVILLE, IN – The Kiwanis Club of Danville will host its eighth annual Daddy-Daughter Dance at Danville Community Middle School on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This event is for girls ages 3-12 and their dads, grandfathers or other significant adult male figures in their lives. While this is called a Daddy-Daughter Dance, the Kiwanis Club of Danville recognizes that a child’s father may not always be available for this event, so responsible adults of either gender who would like to escort a young lady or ladies to the dance are welcome.
Girls are not required to live in Danville to attend, but preregistration is necessary.
Registration is $25 per couple for the first daughter and $5 per additional daughter. Girls will receive a corsage upon arrival, and free photos will be taken and made available online after the dance. The Kiwanis Club will also provide complimentary snacks and drinks, as well as door prizes that will be given away throughout the evening. A DJ will provide family-friendly dance music.
More information about the event, including how to register, can be found at the club’s website, DanvilleKiwanis.org, or by contacting Danville Kiwanian Nola Crouch at (317) 358-6895.
Founded in 1915, Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Danville is in its 16th year of service and meets on Tuesdays at noon at Mayberry Café in Danville. Anyone is welcome to attend meetings.
