Avon Parks to Host “Spring Bird Walk” with IndiGo Birding Nature Tours

Love watching nature at Avon Town Hall Park? On Saturday, May 20th, Avon Parks will partner with IndiGo Birding Nature Tours to host FREE bird walks at the park. This is the best time of year for learning birdsongs!

There will be two 90-minute walks to serve bird lovers of all levels. Beginning birders are encouraged to join the 10:30am walk, which will include family-friendly activities. The 8:30am walk is for intermediate to advanced birders who are looking for a more detailed birding event. Some binoculars will be provided; please bring your own if possible.

To register for the Bird Walks, visit the Avon Parks Facebook Page (@AvonParksandRec) and click on the “Spring Bird Walk” event page.
