INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 22, 2017) – Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett joined executives of Levementum, a customer relationship management (CRM) and business consultancy, today as the company announced plans to expand its operations in Indiana, creating up to 175 new, high-wage jobs by 2021.

Making $1 billion available for innovation and entrepreneurship over the next 10 years will continue this momentum and will allow businesses to focus their efforts on developing the next big idea.”
Levementum, which is headquartered near Phoenix, will equip a 5,000-square-foot space at The Union, a new building at 525 S. Meridian St. in downtown Indianapolis designed specifically for scaleup tech firms. The company, which currently utilizes co-working space at The Bureau in the city’s Fletcher Place neighborhood, plans to move into its new office next month. Levementum’s new space provides the ideal location, technical requirements and amenities for the growing company.

Levementum currently employs more than 42 professionals across the country, including 11 Indiana residents. The company has had a presence in Indianapolis since 2016, and established a marketing automation-focused practice here last year to broaden its expertise and become a full life-cycle, customer engagement, consulting and implementation solution company. Levementum is currently hiring consultants, developers and strategic account executives and expects to triple its employment in Indiana, reaching up to 30-40 employees by the end of 2017. New positions are expected to offer average wages more than double the state’s 2015 average of $21.21/hour.

Pending approval from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) Board of Directors, the IEDC will offer Levementum up to $3,350,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis will provide additional incentives in partnership with its economic development entity Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
Businesses in central Indiana added tech jobs at a rate of nearly 30 percent from 2013 to 2015, which is more than double the growth rate of tech jobs nationally. Making Indiana a jobs magnet is an important part of Governor Holcomb’s 2017 Next Level Legislative Agenda, which proposes accelerating this momentum across the state by making $1 billion available for innovation and entrepreneurship over the next 10 years.
